We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Avionics Technician Manager to join our small dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the installation, maintenance, and repair of avionics systems in various aircraft. This position requires a strong avionics and managerial skills to assist with the daily running of our small family business.
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough inspections of avionics systems to ensure compliance with safety regulations and operational standards.
Manage booking in work, answering emails, dealing with clients.
Install, test, and repair avionics equipment including navigation systems, communication systems, and flight control systems.
Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with avionics systems using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques.
Moving aircraft around, in and out of the hanger as per daily schedule.
Collaborate with engineering teams to implement modifications and upgrades to existing avionics systems.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed on aircraft.
Ensure that all work is completed in accordance with company policies, industry regulations, and best practices.
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior technicians as required.
Experience
Proven experience as an Avionics Technician or in a similar role within the aviation industry.
Strong management skills and knowledge.
Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using power tools and hand tools effectively.
Familiarity with avionics systems and components is essential, along with an understanding of relevant safety standards.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are critical for success in this position.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a collaborative environment.
