Overview

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Barista( minimum 2 years experience)to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, providing exceptional customer service, and mentoring junior baristas. Your expertise in coffee preparation and your ability to manage time effectively will contribute to creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including espresso-based drinks, teas, and smoothies. Ensure all food preparation meets safety and hygiene standards, maintaining a clean workspace at all times. Assist in training and guiding junior baristas in beverage preparation techniques and customer service best practices. Manage inventory levels of coffee beans, syrups, and other supplies, placing orders as necessary to ensure availability. Engage with customers to provide recommendations and ensure their satisfaction with every visit. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently while maintaining a balanced till. Collaborate with the team to maintain an organised environment that promotes teamwork and efficiency.

Skills

Proficient in food preparation techniques with a strong understanding of food safety regulations. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours. Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing inventory effectively. Strong communication skills to interact positively with customers and team members alike. A genuine passion for coffee culture and a desire to share knowledge with others in the team.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.21-13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 25 per week
