Overview

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Barista to join our vibrant team. As a Senior Barista, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional coffee experiences while leading and mentoring junior staff. Your expertise in coffee preparation and customer service will help create a welcoming atmosphere for our patrons.

Duties

Prepare and serve high-quality coffee beverages, ensuring consistency and adherence to recipes. Supervise and train junior baristas, providing guidance on best practices in coffee preparation and customer service. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee station, adhering to food safety standards. Manage inventory levels, ensuring all necessary supplies are stocked and properly stored. Engage with customers, taking orders, providing recommendations, and addressing any concerns or feedback. Assist in the development of new beverage recipes and menu items to enhance customer experience. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operation during peak hours while maintaining high service standards.

Experience

Proven experience as a barista or in a similar role within the food and beverage industry. Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques, equipment, and food safety regulations. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing inventory. A genuine passion for coffee and a desire to help others enjoy their experience. Previous experience in food preparation is advantageous but not essential.

Pay: 12.21-13.21 per hour

Expected hours: 12.21 - 13.00 per week
