Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards at all times. Manage cash transactions accurately and handle card payments securely. Restock bar supplies as needed, monitoring inventory levels to prevent shortages. Engage with guests to create a lively and welcoming environment, promoting repeat business. Adhere to licensing laws regarding alcohol service and responsible drinking practices.

Skills

Proven experience in hospitality or food service environments, particularly within a restaurant or bar setting. Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in beverage preparation. Excellent serving skills with the ability to multitask efficiently during busy periods. Good organisational skills to manage multiple orders and maintain a tidy workspace. Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately. Effective time management to ensure prompt service without compromising quality. Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with colleagues and guests alike.
