This is a hybrid role that will drive an enhanced business development and pipeline performance in the business unit. This will require interaction with both internal teams and external clients / consultants. As such the working arrangements will be dictated by the requirements of external meetings. We would anticipate that the majority of the working week will be dedicated to face-to-face meetings, while administration can be delivered remotely.


The success of the role will be measured by enhanced pipeline and working winning of projects. Equally consistency and accuracy of reporting on a period basis. Ultimately if we can demonstrate the success of the role there would be growth opportunity to take the lead in:


Supporting bids with commercial strategy.

Manage BU KPI and target setting.

Support leads the future business planning for 2030.

Account management lead.

Client relationship management lead.

Events management lead.

Opportunity to progress to Associate Director.


You'll be responsible for:

Business Development lead, reporting directly to the Business Unit Director. Directing the BU business development function to drive high quality pipeline and market intelligence including: Working with sector leads to establish BD development pipeline and trackers. Establishing tracker of market leading consultants to drive zipper plans for consultant interaction. Forming consultant relationship to establish market intelligence. Creating network of relationship to form pipeline data. Forming client relationship to establish market data. Driving BU marketing performance and documents. 2400 Business Development Lead. Forming and maintaining trackers of market intelligence. Creating dashboard for BU SLT to form action plans. Establishing marketing events. Attending industry events to maintain market intelligence. Supporting bid production and presentation. Establishing and manage BD strategy. Maintaining oracle pipeline data. Supporting the BU business planning function. Directing the BU pipeline function and reporting. Creating future years pipeline for FR reporting.

You'll need to have:

Right to work in the UK, or ability to obtain a VISA. Property or infrastructure project management expertise. Experience of leading parts of projects within large, diverse teams. Experience of developing and forming relationships with senior stakeholders.
