Epping Forest District Council (EFDC) is looking to recruit two part-time (18 hours) Senior Business Support Officer role located within the Corporate Business Support Team.
The role will work across all Business Support areas providing a varied range of support across the organisation to support the teams working towards Local Government Reorganisation (LGR) such as elections, legal and finance. The successful applicant will assist the Team Manager to deliver work efficiently and effectively and support the development and delivery of the service for internal and external customers.
Applicants for the posts should be able to use Microsoft Office software, including Word and Excel, and will be required to use a variety of Council IT and tailored systems, for which full training will be given.
We are looking for a positive, proactive individual who has an interest in understanding how to best support various departments and the wider EFDC team to function efficiently. You should enjoy working with others and be a Team Player. You should have an agile and flexible attitude and as an innovative and problem-solving individual, you will be able to identify ways in which systems and processes can be improved.
This will be a hybrid role which will require you to attend the Civic in Epping when required operationally as well as being able to work remotely. There is a requirement to work flexibly but core working hours will be discussed with the successful candidate.
