Job Description


Due to continued growth we are recruiting a Senior Business Support Officer to join our Mortgage Enforcement Team in Bristol. You will be supporting the management of operational risk within the group ranging across various elements of the governance structure such as change and incident management, embedding policy compliance and managing and maintaining databases in the team along with a wider variety of FCA related activities.

Your Role

As a Senior Business Support Officer your remit will cover the following;

  • Dealing with incoming enquiries from internal stakeholders and clients received by the Business Support Team in relation to Risk and Compliance to ensure expressions of dissatisfaction and complaints arising from BLSG are logged and managed to completion in an efficient, effective, and consistent manner
  • Ensuring that any issues arising from such expressions of dissatisfaction are managed as actions supporting the wider operational teams
  • Managing the local change management process supporting the operational teams
  • Assisting where necessary, in preparing and distributing accurate internal and external reports ensuring that the information contained in the reports are accurate
  • Keeping the Business Continuity Plans and Contact Information for operational teams up to date
  • Supporting with projects relating to FCA regulation and embedding principles into the culture of the operational teams
Your Skills and Experience
  • Good use of IT applications including excel
  • Ability to communicate clearly issues to the client and stakeholders
  • Experience of working within a support team
  • Confident managing multiple requests simultaneously
  • Ability to work in a strict regulatory environment
  • Ability to prioritise work effectively to meet deadlines and work to SLAs
  • Excellent team player
  • Methodical approach to work
