Welcome to The Cedars Care Home. We operate in the Social Care (Residential Care Homes) sector and are providing of Residential care facilities including, Accommodation for persons who require nursing or personal care; Dementia; Caring for adults over 65 yrs.

We are currently looking to recruit a full-time Senior Care Workers.

Duties include:

Routinely oversees and monitor care workers,

Take responsibility for the shift and for the service while on duty,

Respond to emergencies and provide guidance and support to care workers,

Assist and enable Residents to dress, undress, wash, use the toilet and bathe,

Serve meals to Residents at table or in bed, assist with feeding if required,

Generally assist with Residents' overall comfort and well-being,

Provide interest and activities to stimulate and engage the Residents,

Help with daily activities such as letter writing, paying bills, collecting benefits,

Undertake light cleaning and domestic duties including meal preparation as required,

Monitor Residents' conditions by taking temperature, pulse, respiration and weight, and contributes to record keeping,

Liaise with professional staff in carrying out care plans etc.

Minimum requirements:

Minimum 2-3 years of experience at a similar capacity in health and care sector is preferred

Level 3 or higher Diploma in Health and Social Care / Health and Social Care Management or equivalent qualifications

Background checks including a CRB check required
