In this role, you'll balance hands-on care, emotional support, and team guidance, while helping to create a warm and supportive environment where moments of reflection and connection are encouraged.

What you'll be doing:

Providing daily care to residents with kindness and consistency Supervising a team and coordinating shift handovers Administering medication and reviewing care plans regularly Being a point of contact for families and professionals

Who we're looking for:

An experienced carer with confidence leading others

Someone who holds SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care

A Christian who is comfortable supporting the spiritual life of the service

Calm in a crisis and warm in everyday interactions

Able to motivate and uplift a diverse team of care staff


Christian Occupational Requirement: This role is reserved for a practising Christian due to the nature of the post and its spiritual responsibilities under the Equality Act 2010.


SSSC registration and PVG scheme membership are essential but don't worry if you're new to the process, we'll guide you through it.

As we do our work in Christ's name the job you have applied for requires you to have a Christian faith and be able to work within and uphold our Christian Ethos. This is an Occupational Requirement under Part 1 of Schedule 9 to the Equality Act 2010.


This post requires you to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and undertake the necessary vetting checks. You will also be required to be registered with SSSC and it is your professional responsibility to ensure that you meet the standards and criteria for registration.
