We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Senior Care Worker to join our team. As a Senior Care Worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to elderly individuals in a care home setting. Job Responsibilities:
- Provide
personal care assistance to seniors
, including bathing, dressing, and grooming

Assist with mobility and transfers
, ensuring the safety and comfort of residents

Administer medications
as prescribed by healthcare professionals

Create and implement care plans
tailored to individual residents' needs

Monitor and record vital signs, report any changes
or concerns to the appropriate personnel

Supervise and support other care staff
, providing guidance and leadership

Maintain accurate documentation
of care provided and resident observations
- Foster a warm and supportive environment for residents, promoting their independence and dignity
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, family members, and other stakeholders to ensure comprehensive care
Job Requirements:
- MUST HAVE OR WILLING TO OBTAIN A VALID PRACTICAL MEDICATION ADMINISTRATION TRAINING CERTIFICATE
-MUST HAVE OR WILLING TO OBTAIN VALID HEALTHCARE TRAINING CERTIFICATES
-MUST HAVE OR WILLING TO APPLY FOR A VALID ENHANCED DBS
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Proficiency in using IT systems for documentation purposes
- Knowledge of care home regulations and best practices
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with the drive to motivate others
Job Types: Part-time, Temporary, Zero hours contract
Pay: 14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
