We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Senior Care Worker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to elderly residents in a care home setting. You will play a vital role in supporting residents' daily activities, ensuring their comfort, and promoting their overall well-being. Your leadership and supervisory skills will be essential as you guide junior staff and contribute to the development of individual care plans.

Duties

Assist residents with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming. Support residents in daily living activities, such as meal preparation and medication management. Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standard of care. Develop and implement personalized care plans tailored to each resident's needs. Supervise and mentor junior staff members, providing guidance and support as needed. Maintain accurate records of residents' progress and any changes in their condition. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the care home environment. Participate in training sessions to enhance your skills and knowledge in senior care.

Requirements

Previous experience in a senior care or similar role is highly desirable. Strong communication skills are essential for interacting with residents, families, and colleagues. Proven leadership abilities with experience supervising staff or volunteers. Familiarity with IT systems for maintaining care records and documentation is advantageous. A valid driving license may be required for transporting residents as needed.
