The Bull Inn, Arborfield Cross are seeking a dedicated and passionate Chef to join the culinary team. Responsibilities

Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards Ensure all dishes are prepared efficiently and meet quality expectations Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including workstations, utensils, and equipment Follow food safety protocols at all times, including proper storage, handling, and sanitation procedures Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and notifying management of shortages Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service hours Support other kitchen staff as needed, including assisting with meal preparation and plating

Experience

Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant environment is preferred Familiarity with kitchen equipment, tools, and safety standards Previous experience in meal preparation and food safety practices is highly desirable Experience working in a fast-paced setting with attention to detail is essential Knowledge of various culinary techniques and presentation skills will be advantageous Serving experience or background in customer service can be beneficial for understanding guest expectations
