We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Line Cook to join our busy kitchen team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes in a fast-paced environment, ensuring all food safety standards are met. Responsibilities
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards
Assist in meal preparation, ensuring timely delivery during service hours
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations, adhering to food safety regulations
Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure hygiene and safety standards are upheld
Assist with inventory management, including stock rotation and restocking ingredients as needed
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy periods
Support the overall cleanliness of the kitchen, including washing dishes and sanitising surfaces
Qualifications
Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar role within a restaurant or hospitality environment
Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in kitchen hygiene
Strong organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Previous experience with meal preparation and serving is desirable but not essential
A genuine passion for culinary arts and delivering quality food to guests
