Job Summary



The

Senior Chef de Partie

is responsible for running a specific section of the kitchen, preparing high-quality dishes, and ensuring consistency in taste and presentation. This role requires strong culinary skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Senior CDP to join our busy kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and culinary techniques, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes. Key ResponsibilitiesFood Preparation & Cooking



Prepare, cook, and plate dishes according to restaurant standards. Manage a designated section (e.g., grill, pastry, sauce, larder). Ensure dishes are prepared with consistent quality, taste, and presentation. Follow recipes, portion controls, and cooking techniques.

Section Management



Set up and stock the station with necessary ingredients and equipment. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation. Monitor stock levels and communicate shortages to supervisors. Assist in menu planning and development when required.

Health, Safety & Hygiene



Adhere to all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation guidelines. Ensure compliance with HACCP standards. Keep the station clean, sanitized, and audit-ready at all times.

Teamwork & Communication



Support junior kitchen staff and provide guidance when needed. Communicate effectively with the Sous Chef and Head Chef. Collaborate with other kitchen sections to ensure smooth service.

Quality & Efficiency



Work efficiently during busy service periods. Assist with stock rotation and waste reduction. Maintain high standards of food quality and kitchen performance.

Qualifications & RequirementsEssential



Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or Demi Chef de Partie. Strong knowledge of kitchen processes and cooking techniques. Ability to work under pressure and handle a fast-paced environment. Excellent attention to detail and passion for food. Good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred



Culinary degree or diploma. Experience in a high-volume or fine-dining environment. Knowledge of modern cooking methods and international cuisines.

Pay: From 13.50 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
