Duties

Prepare ingredients and cook dishes according to recipes and quality standards Assist in meal preparation, ensuring timely delivery of orders during busy service periods Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including workstations and utensils Follow food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, grills, and fryers Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations Restock ingredients and supplies as needed to ensure continuous workflow Support in plating dishes attractively for presentation

Skills

Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant or catering environment Strong knowledge of food safety practices and hygiene standards Ability to work efficiently under pressure during peak hours Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team Knowledge of meal preparation techniques across various cuisines is desirable Previous serving experience is advantageous but not essential, with a focus on delivering excellent customer service
