We are seeking a dedicated and skilled senior chef de partie to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a strong commitment to delivering exceptional culinary experiences. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in meal preparation, ensuring that each dish is prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and workstations
Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, marinating, and seasoning
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed
Follow proper serving techniques to present dishes attractively
Manage the kitchen in the absence of the head and sous chef
Experience
Previous kitchen experience in a restaurant or catering environment is preferred
Culinary experience, including food preparation and cooking techniques
Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Strong teamwork skills and the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues
