Duties:
- Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with established recipes and standards
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
- Ensure that food is prepared and cooked to the highest standards of quality and presentation
- Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient service
- Monitor food inventory and communicate any shortages or discrepancies to the Head and Executive Chef.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Assist with cleaning, dishwashing, and other kitchen duties as needed
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a qualified chef is essential in a similar establishment.
- Knowledge of cooking techniques, food safety, and sanitation practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds)
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
