An opportunity has arisen for a motivated chef to join our team. We are looking for a dedicated team player to work closely with the kitchen team to efficiently deliver consistently high food quality.

Person specification

The ideal candidate must be hardworking, reliable, willing to listen and work at pace throughout preparation, service & cleaning tasks. Have a passion for great food, be positive and calm under pressure, be ambitious and have good attention to detail especially in relation to food safety and hygiene.

A can-do attitude is essential, we are seeking a candidate who wishes to provide the perfect customer experience first time every time and strives for continuous improvement.

Excellent communication skills are required, you must be able to confidently, calmly and methodically offer guidance and problem solve with strong leadership skills.

Qualifications:

Candidates must have proven experience in a similar leadership role.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Working as part of the team covering all sections of the kitchen your role will be to work as part of the team to deliver scratch made meals ensuring quality.

You will be responsible for Kitchen cleanliness, overseeing cooksafe completion, stock rotation, wastage control, training, overseeing prep lists, ensuring procedures are followed including control of waste streams in line with our environmental policy, timekeeping and report on these to the catering manager.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 15.50 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 45 per week
