with part time

Peripatetic Manager for 2 of our established Out of School Clubs in the afternoons

Location:

Driving is essential. You will work mostly within Carnoustie, as well as attend the Kirriemuir Site 2 or 3 times weekly.

Hours

:

Term-time hours with potential for flexibility and growth.

30-35 hours expected per week across all sites, hours can be somewhat tailored to you.

Salary:

19,575 to 22,837.50 (39 weeks plus 6 weeks holiday)

About the Role

This post is ideal for someone with leadership potential, who has strong early years knowledge and who also enjoys working with school-aged children in a play-led environment. Ideal for a deputy or senior ready to step into wider leadership while keeping hands-on time with the children.
You'll:

Work in our newly launching nursery in Carnoustie, supporting high-quality practice as senior lead practitioner within a small team. Work part-time to Lead and Manage 2 of our breakfast/after-school club in Carnoustie and Kirriemuir, supported by a deputy and small staff teams. Lead in planning, quality assurance, staff supervision, and family engagement across both settings.

About You

You will hold or be willing to work towards gainingthe PDA level 9 or BA degree in childhood practice SVQ Level 3 or above (or equivalent) in Early Years or Playwork Previous experience as a senior/deputy/manager preferred Confident communicator with strong leadership skills Passionate about delivering nurturing, child-centred care across all age groups Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage time across two roles Driver with access to own transport is essential.
