We are looking for an experienced
Senior Residential Support Worker
to join our passionate team and help shape the future of the children in our care.
Key Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day care, emotional support, and guidance to children and young people.
Support and mentor junior staff, acting as a role model in best practices.
Contribute to individual care plans, risk assessments, and record-keeping.
Encourage participation in education, activities, and life skills development.
Promote a safe, structured, and supportive home environment.
Work closely with families, social workers, and external professionals.
Requirements
?
Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People's Workforce
(or equivalent) -
Required
?
Minimum of 6 months' experience
working in a children's residential care home -
Essential
? Ability to lead shifts and guide junior staff
? Strong communication and interpersonal skills
? Resilience, empathy, and emotional intelligence
? Willingness to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins
