Overall package:

34,384 - 37,664 p/a (based on 6-8 sleep-ins per month)

Additional Bonuses:

Up to 3000 per annum in performance-based bonuses

Hours:

Full time, up to 40 hours per week (+ sleeps required)

Shift pattern:

7:30-21:30, 2 on 3 off (flexibility required)

You would be joining a gorgeous, new, 2 Bedded LD home, in Cradley Heath. This home was renovated for purpose, with a beautiful standard of decoration and a fully kitted sensory room. The Registered Manager has a plethora of experience and is a specialist in operating Learning Disability homes to 'good' and 'outstanding' standards. You can expect vast opportunities to learn and grow with this astounding team.

Our Package and Benefits:



Basic pay: 14.80 - 15.80 per hour

, depending on experience and qualifications, plus 50 per sleep-in

Estimated package

: Earn

up to 37,664

per annum, based on 8 sleep-ins per month

Enhanced Overtime Rate:

An additional

+2.20 per hour

over your contracted hours

The Role:


As a

Senior Children's Residential Support Worker

, you will play a vital role in delivering outstanding care while ensuring the smooth operation of the home. Your key responsibilities will include:

Leadership & Mentorship:

Supervise and support a team of support workers, conducting appraisals, supervisions, and ensuring high-quality care delivery.

?

Care Planning:

Develop and review personalized care plans, risk assessments, and behaviour support plans to meet the needs and goals of each child.

?

Safeguarding & Compliance:

Maintain strict adherence to safeguarding policies and ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and Quality Standards.

?

Supporting Young People:

Act as a key worker, promoting life skills, independence, and personal development. Plan and participate in engaging activities and educational programs.

?

Health & Safety:

Conduct regular checks, oversee medication administration, and ensure a safe, clean, and nurturing environment for residents.

?

Communication:

Build strong relationships with residents, families, and external professionals while maintaining detailed and accurate records.

Key Requirements:



?Level 3 or 4 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent).

?Experience working with young people in a residential care setting.

?Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

?A full UK driving license (preferred but not essential).

?Commitment to the safety, well-being, and development of children.
