This role is central to ensuring EEISL and its Introducer Appointed Representatives (IARs) and Appointed Representatives (ARs) comply with FCA regulation. You'll act as a specialist and advisor to the business, supporting the FCA Compliance Manager and carrying out 3rd line audit activities to ensure compliance. You'll provide guidance, support, and advice to stakeholders at all levels, helping to embed a strong compliance culture across the organisation.
Here's a taste of what you'll be doingSupport the FCA Compliance Manager in ensuring EEISL and its IARs/ARs meet FCA regulatory requirements.
Prepare and implement the annual monitoring plan, working with business units and the Risks, Controls & Oversight team to deliver first and second line activity, reporting any deficiencies to Senior Management.
Conduct horizon scanning of the regulatory landscape to identify emerging risks and opportunities.
Lead independent compliance and operational audits, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure effective risk mitigation.
Assess the effectiveness of first and second line controls in managing FCA risks, providing assurance across E.ON Next.
Regularly review and update EEISL-specific policies to maintain regulatory alignment.
Support the submission of all regulatory reports and breach notifications to the FCA in accordance with their specified timescales.
Collate and produce reports for Senior Management and the Board on the firm's compliance status.
Review and update FCA compliance training annually.
