Senior Compliance Manager Location: London, UK - Hybrid WorkingRole OverviewThe Senior Compliance Manager will support the Head of Compliance (SMF16) and MLRO (SMF17) in maintaining the Bank's compliance with UK regulatory obligations. This role includes oversight support, compliance monitoring, and advisory responsibilities, with potential progression into the SMF16 role. Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the delivery and enhancement of the Bank's Compliance Framework.Provide day-to-day regulatory guidance to business units.Monitor and report on regulatory developments and compliance risks.Contribute to the compliance monitoring plan and regulatory reporting.Maintain compliance registers and support staff training.Assist in regulatory engagement and prepare relevant materials.Ensure complaints procedures and other regulatory processes are followed.Act as deputy to the Head of Compliance as required.Experience and Knowledge7-10 years' experience in UK financial services compliance, ideally retail banking.Strong knowledge of FCA/PRA requirements and the SM&CR regime.Experience engaging with senior stakeholders and regulators.Demonstrated capability to step into a future SMF16 position.
