This is a fantastic opportunity to join our Ecommerce Marketing team as a Senior Content Planning Executive, to help drive our content further across our UK and International markets!

Reporting to the Senior Social & Digital Design Manager, you will be responsible for the day to day management of Next\'s offsite content planner ensuring business objectives are translated to customers in a useful and meaningful way. You will line manage x2 Content Executives, and will be joining a 15 strong team of marketeers, all working together across creative, paid and organic social to improve Next\'s off-site footprint.

You must have 3+ years experience working in a marketing role, specifically across paid media. We are looking for someone with the ability to create best in class brand content whilst identifying new ways to innovate and engage our audience.

We can offer hybrid working, with part of the week working at the Next Head Office in Enderby, Leicestershire and part of the week working remotely. (2 days office, 3 days remote).

About the Role

Strategy:

  • Oversee and lead the planning of Next offsite content (Paid social, Display, TV, OOH etc) ensuring content is both commercial and optimised for maximum engagement, relevant to our audience and in line with business objectives.
  • Own the UK and International content and activity calendar to ensure business priorities are being translated into marketing via the best creative possible across all categories.
  • Work closely with performance media teams to regularly update, check and amend planning documents to ensure activity is live on the required channels at the right time.
  • Work with the marketing executives to create design briefs for UK and International media activity which translate to best-in-class advertising content.
  • Align with the PR team to ensure celebrity, ambassador and influencer assets are optimised for media channels.
  • Align with the product and trade teams to ensure product priorities are being met across all media channels.
  • Lead wrap up reports for all creative output across the UK and International.
  • Lead test plans and ad-hoc campaign requests, ensuring all activity is briefed on behalf of media owners and briefed into the correct channels.
  • Work closely with the performance team to gather relevant results for review sessions and updates.
Management:
  • Line management of 2 execs, ensuring day to day tasks are being performed in an adequate and timely manner.
  • Monitor performance through regular 121s in line with actionable objectives.
  • Coach and develop the junior members of the team.
Content:
  • Oversee all copy and content across the design briefs, ensuring there\'s synergy with Next\'s tone of voice across all channels.
  • Innovate how we plan and use content across our media channels.
  • Work closely with performance teams to regularly implement learnings based on report findings to ensure all content is optimised to meet or exceed set KPIs
  • Be the team champion for creative innovation and drive momentum within the team for creative innovation and optimisation.
  • Utilise content creators, influencers and native content across suitable formats and channels, champion this content.
  • Lead test and learn planning for international content.
  • Understand the importance of different content types and formats across social media, including influencer content.
  • Support the marketing executives to deliver competitor reports and learnings.
Communication:
  • Ability to work cross functionally across various teams such as PR, Performance, Product, brand and trade teams.
  • Lead meetings and present learnings back to key stakeholders on a regular basis.
  • Manage external briefs with agency partners, creating clear communication and strong relationships.
What we\'re looking for..
  • 3+ years experience working in digital marketing (Social, Paid Media, PR, Brand) with a good understanding of best practice across paid media campaigns, content creation and social media.
  • Experience of working on all the following channels: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, Pinterest, Snapchat and YouTube.
  • Prior experience working for a fashion and/or lifestyle brand.
  • History and experience of line management, helping develop skills and providing support.
  • Ability to be self motivated, creative and ideas driven.
  • Avid social media user with knowledge of all major social networking channels, understanding of current trends and ability to create content fit for channels.
  • Extensive experience of planning, content ideation and implementation of campaign schedules with exceptional planning and organisation skills.
  • Experience of using copywriting skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience of working on influencer content briefs.
  • Ability to create strong and dynamic relationships and have the confidence to liaise with key stakeholders i.e. buyers, online marketing, external brands / platforms.
  • Excellent time management, ability to multitask and perform well under pressure.
  • Able to resolve problems proactively using own initiative and acting quickly within a fast-moving environment.
  • Highly communicative with an ability to influence and negotiate at all levels.
  • Analytically-minded with experience in performance monitoring.
  • A keen interest in fashion, lifestyle and beauty - plus observant of emerging trends.
  • Take full responsibility for your role and ability to manage upwards.
  • Must be willing to work flexibly from home and days in the Head Office in Leicester.
  • Strong experience and understanding of influencer content
