Skills and Experience

Essential
Delivering clear, persuasive and engaging copy, fit for channel, brand and audience. Experience of writing copy across the full marketing funnel and reflecting the objectives of different channels in the marketing mix
A creative problem solver - you'll work in collaboration with a designer to come up with innovative concepts and bring ideas to life
Knowledge of the legal, regulatory and customer responsibilities a financial services company holds and how that impacts communications
A strong communicator who loves working as part of a team, you'll be naturally collaborative. You'll be able to work across multiple projects at once, and communicating progress.
Desirable
Performance led messaging optimisation- for example subject line testing or dynamic content
An understanding of customer research and user testing
A curiosity about tech and AI
Specific industry copy qualifications (eg Plain Numbers or Consumer Duty)
An understanding of service messaging, UX copywriting and copy for small digital formats
