  • Role Overview:
  • Responsible for availability, security, and scalability of the vessel monitoring system
  • Collaboration with Architecture, Test, Project Management, and Product Management teams
  • Define and implement operations and engineering practices for stable, scalable, and secure platforms
  • Utilize best tools and solutions for faster deployment and growth
  • Develop and deliver technology aligned with the client\'s mission and quality system
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Support team members and assist with challenging tasks to maintain sprint targets
  • Develop user stories with adherence to acceptance criteria and technical requirements
  • Manage software release process and provide technical support
  • Maintain and enhance deployment environments
  • Attend Sprint demo sessions and daily Scrum team stand-ups
  • Collaborate with team members and perform peer code reviews
  • Essential Skills:
  • 5-10 years of DevOps experience, including 3 years in Agile environment
  • Proficiency in Linux, GIT, CI/CD, Jenkins, Docker, Message Queuing systems, SQL, and VM management platforms
  • Strong programming skills in Python and/or Java
  • Experience with Jira and Confluence
  • Ability to implement end-to-end solutions and support microservices
  • Demonstrated ability to improve software quality and perform verification and validation
  • Familiarity with production environments, security, and communication to technical audience
  • Adherence to design principles and best practices
  • Desirable Skills:
  • Understanding of large distributed systems with data sharing
  • Experience with automation frameworks (e.g., Ansible, Puppet)
  • Windows administration knowledge, including DNS and DHCP config
