As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you\'ll be working on a special platform that supports a service that is first of its kind globally. You will be responsible for DevOps culture, and continuous improvement in deployment processes to deliver impactful and socially positive products in a rapidly scaling environment.

Requirements:

• Proficient in building cloud-hosted consumer web applications and backend services using open-source technologies (Node.js, Ruby on Rails, Python) within start-up or scale-up environments.
• Proven expertise in programming languages like Python or Golang.
• Experience in cross-functional agile teams, contributing to both frontend and backend development for large-scale consumer-facing web applications.
• Proven expertise in Cloud environments, including Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Skilled in Infrastructure as Code, ideally with knowledge of Terraform.
• Familiarity with modern agile development practices, such as code review, TDD, CI/CD, and pairing, using tools like GitHub Actions.
• Strong understanding of operational, security, and legal considerations in solution design, with the ability to articulate trade-offs and make informed decisions.
• Experience in organisations undergoing significant growth.
• Knowledge of maintainability in platform and infrastructure architecture.
• Mentorship and coaching experience for less experienced Engineers.
