Coneygarth Farm Day Nursery is a fantastic setting on a working farm in the scenic village of Haxey on the North Lincolnshire/South Yorkshire border. Due to our unique location you need to drive or have the ability to come to and from work reliably without public transport.

A Senior Early Years Educator has the below job description but has a leadership role within the team sitting between the Room Leader and the Early Year's educators. It is their role to be the 'right hand' of the Room Leader and aid them in the running of the room and to be the lead practitioner when the Room Leader is not in the setting.
Early Years Educator
The role of an
Early Years Educator
is to ensure that all children receive high quality care, interactions and learning. An Early Years Educator requires to have at least an NVQ Level 3 as an Early Years Educator or equivalent.
Key Responsibilities
Adhere to all company policies and procedures
Contribute to a high standard of quality within the nursery, including practice, environment and resources to meet the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage
Ensure appropriate planning and assessment is accurately maintained for key children
Undertake the role of key person as described in the policy
Prepare and supervise activities
Supervise and support children at all times
Ensure that equality of access and opportunity is provided to all children, parents, staff and visitors
Ensure that all children are kept safe
Notify Designated Safeguarding Lead of any safeguarding concerns
Maintain a positive attitude at all times with children, parents, colleagues and visitors
Develop and maintain professional working relationships with colleagues, parents and carers
Ensure confidentiality, where appropriate, is maintained
Adhere to all health and safety policies and procedures and undertake a shared responsibility for cleanliness and health and safety throughout the nursery
Work as part of a team to ensure the company's values are maintained
Attend staff meetings, planning meetings and undertake training as required
Undertake any other duties as reasonably requested by you line manager
