Duties
Develop and implement engaging educational programmes tailored to the needs of children aged 0-5 years.
To safely open and close the nursery building, on a shift pattern.
Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment that encourages exploration and learning.
Manage daily activities and routines while ensuring the well-being of all children in your care.
Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to build strong relationships and promote a collaborative atmosphere.
Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and adapting learning strategies as necessary.
Lead by example, demonstrating best practices in childcare and early years education.
Collaborate with other educators to create a cohesive learning experience across the nursery.
Qualifications
A recognised qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent is essential.
Proven experience working with young children in a nursery or educational setting is highly desirable.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to engage with children and parents.
A genuine passion for childcare and early years education, with the drive to inspire young learners.
Knowledge of child development theories and best practices in early years education.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also demonstrating initiative.
