Job Title: Senior Early Years Practitioner

PT & FT Positions available

2 Positions in Killyman Road

Reports to: Early Years Manager

Purpose of Role: To provide high-quality care and education to children in a safe and stimulating environment. To lead and supervise a team of practitioners and to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver a curriculum that meets the needs of all children, taking into account their individual needs, interests and abilities Lead, supervise and support a team of practitioners to deliver high-quality care and education Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and regulations, including the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework and Ofsted requirements Observe, assess and record children's progress and use this information to plan for their next steps in learning Build positive relationships with parents and carers, keeping them informed of their child's progress and involving them in their child's learning Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and administrative systems Attend and contribute to team meetings, staff training and development opportunities
Qualifications and Experience:

Level 5 or above qualification in Early Years or Childcare Experience of working in an early years setting, Experience of planning and delivering a curriculum that meets the needs of all children Strong communication and leadership skills Experience of working with families from diverse backgrounds First Aid and Safeguarding training
