Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Senior Early Years Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education, management and leadership, skills and a genuine love for working with children. This role involves creating a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment for young learners, fostering their development through engaging activities and play-based learning.

Duties

Plan and implement educational programmes that cater to the individual needs of children aged 0-5 years. Create a warm and welcoming atmosphere that encourages children to explore and learn. Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians as necessary. Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues through effective communication. Maintain a safe and clean environment in accordance with health and safety regulations. Collaborate with other educators to develop best practices in early childhood education. Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

Qualifications

Relevant qualifications in Early Childhood Education or Childcare are essential. Previous experience working with children in a nursery or educational setting is highly desirable. Strong management and leadership skills to guide and support junior staff members. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to engage effectively with children, parents, and colleagues. A commitment to ongoing professional development within the field of early years education is expected.
