The Role

As a

Senior Electrical Design Engineer

, you'll take ownership of the electrical design aspect of various commercial fit-out projects. Working within a skilled and collaborative in-house team, you'll produce accurate technical drawings, contribute to design coordination, and ensure that all systems meet safety and compliance standards. You'll also play an integral role in shaping the future of the design function as the company continues its strong growth trajectory.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and deliver electrical design solutions for fit-out projects across the commercial and industrial sectors. Prepare comprehensive technical drawings and layouts for lighting, power distribution, fire alarms, and related systems. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure smooth project delivery. Ensure all designs comply with current building regulations and meet client specifications. Use Revit, CAD, and other relevant software to produce detailed, accurate designs. Optimise design work through cost-effective and value-engineered solutions. Support project coordination from design through to construction, providing technical input where needed. Maintain strong communication across internal departments, particularly with pre-construction and operations teams.

Experience & Skills

Minimum of 2 years' experience in

commercial electrical design or fit-out projects

. Proficient in

Revit

,

AutoCAD

, and schematic design software. Strong understanding of electrical systems, technical standards, and compliance regulations. Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify and solve design challenges. Team-focused, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Monday-Thursday, 8:00am-5:00pm; Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm (39 hours per week)
