You will contribute to business-critical acquisition journeys for cards and loans, building and enhancing high-traffic, customer-facing websites and campaign experiences.
Alongside delivery, you actively mentor and share knowledge with other front-end teams, helping raise engineering standards and drive better outcomes across the organisation.
Your Skills and Experience
Essential
Strong communication skills with both stakeholders and technical engineers.
Advanced React experience using TypeScript.
Strong Node.js knowledge for service and API development.
Solid testing experience covering code quality, security, customer journeys, and accessibility.
Excellent knowledge of writing semantic, accessible, and modular front-end code.
Experience integrating with services via RESTful APIs.
Experience with agile software development methodologies.
Practical experience setting up and running CI/CD pipelines.
Experience working with cloud platform services.
Familiarity with Storybook, atomic design principles, and design language systems.
Desirable
Knowledge of Azure cloud platform services.
Experience working with monorepo project structures using tools such as Turborepo or Nx.
Experience being on call, with monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Azure AppInsights, Grafana).
Experience with web accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1/2.2)
