London Heritage Quarter (LHQ) is a collaborative alliance of four Business Improvement Districts (BIDs) spanning Victoria, Victoria Westminster, Whitehall, and Northbank. Stretching from Belgravia to the Royal Courts of Justice, the Quarter is home to some of London's most iconic landmarks, including Parliament Square and Trafalgar Square. This area includes the historic processional route through Central London and major transport hubs, serving as a dynamic centre for government, business, world-class hospitality, and cultural institutions.

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Events Manager to join our dedicated team to cover for maternity cover. This is an exciting opportunity to play a vital role in shaping the future of the London Heritage Quarter and ensuring it remains a thriving and sustainable hub for businesses, residents, and visitors alike.



In this role, you will be delivering London Heritage Quarter's annual events programme by commissioning events which raise LHQ's profile and engage with levy payers, residents, and visitors and ensuring excellent customer service and quality delivery of events by



Setting, communicating and maintaining timelines and priorities on every project Being responsible for all annual events budgets, ensuring the events are delivered within budget Maintaining and building effective relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, including local business, external agencies, senior managers and internal colleagues Securing permissions from outside authorities including Westminster City Council, to host events where required Instructing and managing third party suppliers Liaising and coordinating suppliers, partners and key stakeholders Contributing to London Heritage Quarter's wider marketing strategy Supporting other LHQ team members in delivering their themed events

What We're Looking For




We are looking for someone who is:



A strong and effective communicator at all levels - internally and externally with an excellent telephone manner and interpersonal skills Well versed in social media with strong IT skills, including MS Word, Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint and Eventbrite Able to be creative with ideas for different events Detailed orientated A creative thinker with the ability to actively promote ideas and initiatives both internally and externally Excellent time-management skills to ensure the efficient running of an event Skills to promote the event and attract sponsorship using their sales and marketing experience Educated to a good standard. An event management degree is desirable but not essential Professionally experienced in a similar role
