About your work




As the Senior Financial Accountant, you will take full ownership of the end-to-end financial control and reporting framework for our Luxembourg fund. You will be responsible for managing all core finance functions, from NAV production and forecasting to leading the annual audit, while also driving process improvements and providing key strategic insights. The role is instrumental in order to grow our AUM within the Funds business at LendInvest and offers a great opportunity to progress your career to the next level.

Key responsibilities:



Oversee and review all month-end financial accounting procedures, including bank and balance sheet reconciliations and analytical reviews, for the group entities associated with the Luxembourg fund. Manage the production and review of monthly/quarterly Net Asset Valuations (NAVs), ensuring accuracy and timely delivery to stakeholders. Lead in the annual forecasting process for all fund-related expenditure, providing insightful variance analysis of actuals against forecasts on a monthly and quarterly basis. Ensure the accuracy and integrity of intercompany recharges, calculations, and reconciliations within the Funds Group. Oversee the calculation and invoicing of all share creation, management, and performance fees, ensuring they are in accordance with fund documentation. Implement and manage robust controls across the financial control function. Manage the relationship with external tax advisors to ensure timely and accurate preparation of VAT and corporate tax returns for the Luxembourg entities. Ensure compliance with all regulatory submissions, including quarterly reports to HMRC. Lead the year-end audit process, acting as the primary point of contact for external auditors and ensuring the successful and timely completion of interim and full-year audits. Responsible for audit working papers and the preparation of statutory accounts. Drive process improvement initiatives across the fund finance function to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and the overall control environment. Lead and contribute to ad-hoc strategic projects related to the Fund entities, providing critical financial insight and analysis.

About you



Prior financial accounting experience within financial services is essential Experience in the investment fund industry preferable, either in-house or at a fund administrator, however this is not essential Fully qualified accountant, ACA, ACCA or equivalent, with post qualified experience Strong technical and accounting skills Ability to work to strict deadlines as well as efficiently prioritising other ongoing work streams Excellent attention to detail Strong written and verbal communication skills Team player, with the ability to help as and where needed to support the wider Funds team Self motivated and enthusiastic with the ambition to develop and add value to the business
