Job Summary

We are seeking a creative and passionate Florist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for design and a love for flowers and plants. As a Florist, you will be responsible for creating beautiful floral arrangements for various occasions, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining the shop's aesthetic appeal. Your ability to communicate effectively with customers and understand their needs will be essential in delivering outstanding service.

Duties

Design and create hand tied bouquets, floral arrangements for events, weddings, funeral, and everyday occasions. Assist customers in selecting flowers and arrangements that meet their needs. Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the shop, ensuring all displays are visually appealing. Manage inventory of flowers and supplies, placing orders as necessary to ensure stock levels are maintained. Communicate with customers in both English and Spanish, providing assistance to a diverse clientele. Sell floral products and related items while providing excellent customer service. Stay updated on current floral trends and techniques to enhance product offerings. Answer phone/Emails

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Florist or in a similar role is preferred but not essential. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Excellent communication skills in English. A passion for gardening and knowledge of various types of flowers and plants. Ability to work well under pressure during busy periods. abilities are a plus, enhancing customer interaction. A creative mindset with an eye for detail in design work.
