As a senior analyst within the fraud analytics team, you will be responsible for the management of fraud rulesets across applications, as well as supporting management of rulesets in payments and transactions. Your focus would be preventing identity fraud losses across the Group, while minimising the false-positive rate of any application referrals. As the bank migrates more data to the cloud, you will use advanced coding skills to transform the way that the team conducts fraud analysis.

In your day to day, you will:

Managing fraud risks and customer impact, through the control of application rule sets (Hunter, Detect, Emailage).
Expected to coach, mentor and deliver technical guidance to other analysts within the team.
Key fraud industry contact and representative on fraud intelligence forums, maximising use of external data and collaborative opportunities with peers across the industry.
Devise and maintain management insight on the application fraud trends and losses.
Perform highly advanced analysis into fraud trends across the wider industry. Propose new fraud rules, technology and methods to combat these trends and reduce loss to the bank.

Hours are 37.5 per week Monday to Friday 9am \xe2\x80\x93 5:30pm with a flexible approach. The expectation is to come into office 1 day per week.

Qualifications

Essential

Strong experience in using SQL or SAS (or similar coding language).
Demonstrable analytical/numerate ability through a degree or equivalent experience.
Proficient with all standard Microsoft Office applications.

Desirable

Prior experience within a fraud role is advantageous but not essential.
