Summary
We are seeking skilled Grill Chefs, Chefs de Partie and Chefs to join our culinary team at Smiths Restaurant. In these role, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of grilled dishes that meet our high standards of quality and presentation. Your expertise will contribute significantly to our reputation for excellence.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook a variety of grilled fish and meat dishes according to Smiths' standards.
Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grill station and kitchen area.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
Participate in menu planning and development by suggesting new recipes or improvements.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Grill Chef or similar role in a restaurant setting.
Strong knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
Excellent communication skills to work effectively with the kitchen team.
Passion for cooking and a keen interest in seafood preparation.
