We are seeking a motivated and hands-on finance professional to join our team. The role consists of day-to-day transactional accounting, management reporting, and finance projects.
The successful candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and a confident communicator, with the ability to work across all areas of finance across the group which consists of seven companies.
The role will maintain financial controls, support budgets, deliver accurate MI, and play a key role in month-end close while partnering with senior leaders to drive performance and improvement.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
? Support the Finance Controller with monthly management reporting, departmental budgets, and financial analysis to aid decision-making.
? Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations, bank reconciliations, and ensure robust financial controls.
? Supplier payment processing
? Provide accurate financial reporting in line with agreed timelines, including management accounts and cashflow
? Support the Group Financial Controller on audits, and compliance requirements.
? Collaborate with finance assistants to ensure ledgers are accurate and up to date (invoicing, deposits, payments, etc.).
? acting as a key point of contact with brand managers and senior leaders to drive improvements.
? Assist with HMRC requirements and compliance
? Contribute to projects to improve financial processes, systems, and reporting.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
? Qualified accountant or actively studying (CIMA, ACCA)
? Minimum 3 years' experience in a finance or accounting role
? Strong management accounting skills including MI, budgets and reconciliations
? Confident with Excel and accounting systems (Xero, Salesforce, Google Sheets)
? Excellent communicator with the ability to work across group and support decision making
KEY MEASURES
? Deliver accurate and timely monthly management information (MI) and reports.
? Departmental budgets prepared and monitored effectively for Collier Webb
? Complete month end activities and reconciliations within agreed time scale
? Contribute to process improvements and efficiency gains in finance operations
