Max Daniel Hair is on the lookout for a confident, creative, and career-driven Senior Stylist to join our award-winning salon in the heart of Chislehurst.

Minimum 3 years of salon floor experience Confident in all aspects of cutting and colouring Extensions experience a bonus (but not essential) Able to work independently and use initiative A good energy and a strong work ethic - no egos here

Overview

We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional hair styling services while also mentoring junior stylists and contributing to the overall management of the salon. Your expertise in hair care, customer service, and upselling techniques will play a crucial role in enhancing our clients' experience and driving the success of our business.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality hair styling services, including cutting, colouring, and treatments tailored to individual client needs. Experience with extensions is a bonus but not essential. Mentor and train junior stylists, sharing your knowledge and skills to foster their professional growth. Assist with store management tasks, ensuring the salon operates smoothly and efficiently. Engage with clients at the front desk, managing appointments and providing excellent customer service. Upsell products and services to enhance client satisfaction and contribute to salon revenue. Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety standards.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Hair Stylist with a strong portfolio showcasing your work. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members. Experience in barbering is an advantage but not essential. Strong customer service skills with a focus on creating a welcoming atmosphere for clients. Ability to mentor others, fostering a collaborative team environment. Knowledge of current trends in hairstyling, colour techniques, and treatments.
