We are seeking a

dedicated and experienced Senior Health Care Assistant

to join our committed team at a reputable

care home in Doncaster (DN10)

. This is an exciting opportunity to take the next step in your career while delivering high-quality care and support to our residents during night shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and supervise a team of Health Care Assistants during night shifts Provide compassionate personal care and emotional support to residents Administer medication (if trained) and support clinical tasks under nurse guidance Ensure care plans are followed and updated accurately Maintain safe practices in line with safeguarding and infection control standards Be the first point of contact for night-time queries and concerns Liaise with family members, nurses, and external healthcare professionals when necessary Participate in audits, handovers, and night-time reporting procedures

Requirements:

NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care is essential

Minimum of 1 year's experience in a UK care home setting

Proven experience leading or supervising a care team Strong understanding of safeguarding, health & safety, and person-centred care Must be reliable, confident, and comfortable working independently at night Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills

Must have the right to work in the UK - Sponsorship is not available
