Based predominantly at St. Peter's Hospital in Chertsey, this full-time role offers exceptional opportunities to broaden your clinical expertise and contribute meaningfully to high-quality patient care.



As a Trust Grade Doctor within the General and Specialist Medicine (GSM) Division, you will experience a wide range of clinical scenarios and patient demographics, gaining valuable hands-on exposure in both acute and general medical settings. This post is ideally suited to doctors who are looking to build experience after foundation training, prepare for future specialty training, or explore different aspects of internal medicine in a supportive environment. Respiratory and/or Cardiology interest is desirable as these will likely be the first two rotations.



You will:



Participate in full-shift acute General Medicine on-call rota, including weekends and out-of-hours cover.



Provide day-to-day inpatient and outpatient care across GSM wards.



Take part in clinical audits, quality improvement projects, and regular teaching sessions.



Keep up to date with clinical knowledge through CPD and Trust training programmes.



Be supported by Clinical and Educational Supervisors, with access to divisional education days and funding for professional development.

As a Trust Grade Doctor, you will rotate through various GSM wards depending on clinical demand, supporting the acute medical take and providing high-quality care to unwell or deteriorating patients. You will be expected to hold ALS certification (or equivalent) and demonstrate confidence in managing acute medical conditions. The role mirrors deanery-standard positions and is ideal for doctors preparing for ST3 or seeking broad-based medical experience.
