Delta Electronics (UK) Ltd is currently seeking an experienced and adaptable HR professional for a stand alone HR role in the UK. Reporting directly to the Head of HR in the Netherlands this is a fantastic opportunity to help drive the HR agenda. The successful candidate will thrive in a varied role, working closely and collaborating with colleagues across our EMEA offices. The HR team is responsible for employee development, employee recruitment and onboarding, performance management, compliance with legislation, payroll and benefit administration, case work including grievance and disciplinaries, organisation restructures, policies and procedures, and celebrations amongst other things. You will ideally be CIPD qualified and you will keep up to date with employment law developments. You will be willing to travel regularly within UK and occasionally to the Netherlands.
Manage the daily operations of HR, including administering and managing operational process related to onboarding and offboarding, including contractual documentation, visas, emails, HR updates etc.
Manage and execute the payroll process in collaboration with our payroll provider, provide input, check accuracy, authorize payroll each month, circulate final reports, upload and manage pension schemes, reports and documentation.
Be part of recruitment in the UK and liaise with agencies to drive talent acquisition and successful recruitment.
Be the first point of contact for UK employees with employee related questions and queries, for managers throughout EMEA region and for various external bodies.
Manage insurances in liaison with our broker to insure cost effectiveness and continuity of cover.
Monitor and advise on attendance and absences and arrange occupational health assessment when required to support employees and expediate returns to work.
Oversee the Performance Management scheme in the UK and liaise with managers to ensure highest levels of performance.
Use HR systems to ensure that data is kept up to date and accurate including salary information and utilize in house computer systems and packages.
Qualifications
Excellent time management and able to prioritize a busy workload.
Knowledgeable of UK HR laws.
Knowledge of General Data Protection.
Understanding of UK visa situation.
Understanding of payroll and excellent attention to details.
Analyze training requirements and experience of running successful training sessions.
Experience of handling restructures or TUPE transfers in the past.
