We are looking for a proactive and innovative leader to oversee the financial and IT operations of the Housing service, with a key focus on driving digital advancements and strategic development.

Key responsibilities include:



Driving the development and monitoring of the HRA Business Plan, ensuring compliance with Welsh Government requirements and enabling informed strategic investment decisions. Managing annual revenue and capital budgets, overseeing the rent-setting process in line with WG policy, and leading the rent accounting function, including audit participation and year-end reconciliation. Analysing financial performance data, evaluating trends and modelling viability to support risk management around rent, bad debt, and void levels.

The successful candidate will:



Lead IT research and development across housing service areas, identifying opportunities to enhance customer experience and modernise staff workflows. Coordinate procurement and implementation of IT solutions, ensuring the rollout of hardware and software aligns with service needs and supports efficient delivery.
