The Role

We are seeking a

Senior Interior Architect

who thrives on creating extraordinary spaces and leading projects from

concept to completion

. This is a

design-led leadership role

for someone with a deep understanding of

luxury new builds, complete home renovations, and large-scale extensions

with project values from

50,000 to 1,000,000+

.

You will work closely with clients from the earliest stage, bringing

creative vision, practical solutions, and innovative thinking

to deliver projects that set new standards in the industry.

You will liaise with our in-house construction teams, project managers, and joinery specialists to ensure seamless delivery of

design, planning permissions, construction, and bespoke interiors

.

Sales experience is highly desirable, as this role offers

attractive commissions

on projects you bring in and convert. For the right person, there is a

clear path to a managerial or director-level role

within the company.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Creative Leadership

Lead architectural and interior design for high-value residential projects Develop unique, industry-leading concepts for exteriors, interiors, and landscapes Provide material specifications, finishes schedules, and mood boards Translate client visions into detailed, practical, and buildable plans

Client Engagement

Meet with medium to high-net-worth clients to capture requirements and aspirations Present concepts, secure approvals, and manage revisions Offer solutions that combine design innovation with practical implementation

Project Collaboration

Work with construction teams, project managers, and joinery specialists to ensure designs are delivered to the highest standard Prepare and submit planning applications as required Oversee on-site design execution, ensuring every detail is in line with the concept

Business Growth & Sales

Identify opportunities to win high-value projects Support the business development team in pitching for new work Earn commissions on all projects you personally secure and close

Requirements

5+ years' experience as an interior architect in high-end residential projects Proven portfolio of new builds, renovations, and large-scale extensions Strong understanding of architectural principles, interior design, and landscaping Excellent material knowledge and sourcing ability Exceptional client communication and presentation skills Commercial awareness and ability to balance creativity with budgetary considerations Sales ability a bonus - or willingness to learn and convert opportunities Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar software
