Senior Contracts Manager

The Role
As a Senior Interior Fit-Out Contracts Manager, you will take a leading role in pre-commencement planning, procurement and project delivery across multiple live schemes. Working closely with our commercial team and Site Managers, you will be responsible for ensuring effective project planning, coordination and execution from concept through to completion.
In addition to core contract responsibilities, this senior role carries enhanced leadership duties to support the wider delivery function.
Key responsibilities include:
Ensuring full compliance with Health & Safety regulations across all sites
Securing best-value subcontractor and supplier pricing
Procuring subcontract works in conjunction with the delivery team
Leading and attending regular client review meetings as a key point of contact
Coordinating supply chain progress and planning meetings
Allocating labour and coordinating Site Managers to ensure resource availability, efficiency and programme compliance
Overseeing the performance, direction and support of the contracts team to ensure consistent delivery standards and safety compliance
Providing direction and problem-solving support across all projects
Maintaining strong communication with clients, suppliers, consultants and colleagues
Preparing accurate construction-phase programmes and monitoring progress against these
This role demands a candidate who can work independently, manage multiple priorities and take ownership of delivery outcomes, while also contributing to the continuous improvement of operational processes.
About You
The ideal candidate will be:
An effective communicator and confident senior leader
A strong team motivator who works collaboratively with clients, colleagues and supply-chain partners
An experienced Contracts Manager or Senior Project Manager ready to step into a higher-responsibility role
Deeply experienced in the shopfitting/interior fit-out sector
Knowledgeable of current Building Legislation, compliance and best practice
Highly skilled in planning, programming and forward project coordination
Comfortable managing labour, resources and multiple Site Managers
Commercially and financially aware
Methodical, organised and proactive in approach
Willing to travel nationally as required
A holder of a full UK driving licence
Preferred Experience:
10+ years in contract or project management (shopfitting/interior fit-out preferred)
Progression Path: Head of Contracts
This position is strategically placed to progress into the

role.
