to join our Procurement team. This role is responsible for managing and optimising inventory levels across our warehouse network while coordinating international imports, including airfreight and sea freight from the Far East.
You will maintain efficient, cost-effective supply chain operations and play a key role in ensuring product availability to support efficient procurement decisions, aligning inventory flow with seasonal and operational demand.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Management
Maintain accurate stock levels across all warehouse locations
Analyse inventory data to support replenishment and procurement planning
Identify low stock, overstock and slow-moving items and recommend actions
Coordinate and support cycle counts and stocktakes
Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies
Track seasonal trends and contribute to demand forecasting
Maintain inventory records within IMS/ERP systems
Produce regular inventory reports for key stakeholders (Procurement, Finance, Operations)
Shipping & Import Coordination
Manage international import shipments (air and sea freight)
Act as the main contact for freight forwarders, customs brokers and suppliers
Ensure all customs and shipping documentation is accurate and complete
Track shipments and proactively manage delays or changes
Coordinate delivery from ports/airports to warehouse
Review freight costs and support cost-saving initiatives
Maintain accurate shipment, duty and freight cost records
Collaboration
Work closely with Procurement, Warehouse, Logistics and Sales teams
Provide visibility on inbound stock, delivery timelines and potential shortages to support operational plans
Skills & Experience:
Proven experience in inventory control, supply chain, or stock management
Experience coordinating international shipments (air and sea), ideally from the Far East
Knowledge of import regulations and customs documentation
Strong analytical and organisational skills
Proficient in Excel and inventory management systems (ERP/IMS)
Effective communicator with cross-functional teams and external suppliers
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Experience managing stock across multiple sites is an advantage
Desirable
CIPS qualification or working towards
Certification or training in international logistics, freight or supply chain
