Job Description

We're looking for a highly motivated Senior Investment Officer to join our busy Property Investment team. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead on bespoke capital investment projects, oversee surveying works programmes and play a key role in ensuring our homes are maintained to the highest standards.

What you'll be doing:



Supervising and supporting a small team of Asset Surveyors and a Project Officer to deliver capital investment projects that are responsive, timely and of high quality. Leading the planning, implementation and monitoring of surveying works programmes, including Stock Condition Surveys and EPCs, to maintain accurate stock data and support future investment planning. Preparing specifications, contract documentation and assisting with procurement for investment projects. Managing budgets, monitoring progress and ensuring delivery of programmes on time and to budget. Supporting the submission of grant funding bids (such as the Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund) and reporting progress to senior management. Engaging with residents, contractors, colleagues and external partners to ensure projects are customer-focused and deliver value for money.

About you:



A relevant professional qualification or equivalent experience in construction and/or property development. Experience of managing staff and contractors, with strong leadership and influencing skills. Experience in delivering asset investment or development projects. Strong financial and budget management skills. Knowledge of asset investment services, including health and safety requirements. Excellent communication, problem-solving and project management skills.
