Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior IT Manager to lead our IT department and oversee the management of our technology infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in IT service management, project management, and team leadership. This role requires expertise in various technologies including AWS, VMware, and Microsoft SQL Server, as well as a deep understanding of network security and information security protocols. The Senior IT Manager will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and security of our IT systems while driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Duties

Lead and manage the IT team, providing guidance and support to ensure effective performance. Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure including servers, networks, and databases. Develop and enforce IT policies and procedures in alignment with IT governance frameworks. Manage vendor relationships to ensure quality service delivery and cost-effectiveness. Coordinate disaster recovery planning and business continuity strategies to minimize downtime. Implement best practices for information security to protect sensitive data from threats. Utilize project management methodologies to oversee IT projects from inception to completion. Provide technical support for complex issues related to computer networking, server management, and remote access software. Monitor system performance using tools such as SolarWinds and ensure optimal operation of all IT services. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support software development initiatives using Agile methodologies.

Qualifications

Proven experience in an IT management role with supervisory experience. Strong knowledge of AWS, VMware vSphere, Linux, DHCP, LAN/WAN technologies. Proficient in project management tools such as Jira and ServiceNow. Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Strong analytical skills with a focus on problem-solving and decision-making. Experience with network engineering principles including firewall configurations and network infrastructure design. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for documentation and reporting purposes. Ability to manage time effectively while prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced environment.
