The IT Project Services Team constitutes an integral part of the RWE Supply & Trading GmbH (RWEST) IT strategy. We provide a trusted service, managing and supporting projects and initiatives throughout their lifecycle. With the increasing key capabilities in light of RWEST IT\'s Agile and DevOps Transformation we support a variety of project formats, providing various roles in order to deliver benefit to the business and support the change process towards the DevOps operating model. We provide highly adaptable methodology and governance experts with the capability to keep an overarching and unbiased view. From concept to completion.

  • Become a part of the IT Project Services team @ RWEST and use your skills and expertise to drive major IT initiatives, living agile project management values and principles
  • Manage project initiation, defining project goal, setting project organisation and approach
  • Develop and manage project timeline, budgets and costs; ensure project risks are mitigated, dependencies and assumptions are known, communicated and monitored
  • Manage expectations of project stakeholders of all seniority levels through effective communications, including project steering group meetings
  • Coordinate various workstreams if required, working closely with RWEST IT\'s Product Owners, squads and external project specific vendors, other operating companies or connected teams (e.g. IT Infra, Enterprise Architecture)
  • Collate relevant updates for regular project status reporting
  • Act as a role model and ambassador for project management topics within the organization, championing the agile way of working within IT while also being mindful and aware of other delivery methods and sharing your knowledge and expertise within the team
  • Support further development & implementation of RWEST\'s model for delivery of large cross-functional projects, in keeping with RWEST\'s DevOps framework and organisational setup
Your powerful skills
  • An (experienced) project manager with a proven track record of successful IT project deliveries in quickly changing environments
  • Experience of agile project management (e.g. scrum) processes & artefacts and appreciation of differences to waterfall projects
  • Continuously driving change and working towards ambitious timelines
  • Strong confidence and ability to challenge project sponsor, business clients, stakeholders, suppliers and IT colleagues on project scope, project governance, project timescales and project finances
  • Proficient skills to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders at varying levels, including senior management
  • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills, able to structure and solve complex problems
  • Effective coach and mentor, with the ability to inspire and motivate diverse teams even in times of high pressure
  • Excellent written and verbal English language skills
Advantageous, but not a must
  • Knowledge of appropriate tools to support agile project management (e.g. Azure DevOps)
  • Expertise in using cloud technologies and concepts (focus on Amazon Web Services)
